		<description>I think it has a lot to do with the world that they have lived in. In previous generations, you were able to get a job for life and retire on that job's pension. Now you cannot rely on a job keeping you for more than a couple years, so instead of relying on an unreliable job, they figure they are better off working for themselves, where at least they can control the environment.</description>

		<description>It is true that generation Y has rejected corporate history in a big way. They do however, measure their success as against the corporate structure, so in effect they operate within it unwillingly. Ultimately they will be the new corporate structure and the same agressive capablities that made the 50's tycoons successful will make them successful also.  They will posture as having thrown off the corporate yolk, but in fact they are more corporately imbued than their fathers and granfathers ever were.</description>
